In de jaren ’80 richtten de broers Guy & Wilfried Van Baelen in Mol de firma Galaxy Studios op. Snel ontpopte het bedrijf zich tot één van de populairste opnamestudio’s op de Belgische markt. Het kruim van Belgische en internationale artiesten vonden hun weg naar deze opnamestudio’s.
Galaxy Studios in Mol is al decennialang een belangrijke pionier op het vlak van klank en beeld. Zo ontwikkelde zusterbedrijf Auro Technologies het unieke Auro-3D geluid waarin bioscoopgangers, thuiskijkers en muziekliefhebbers volledig worden ondergedompeld.
Dezer dagen laat Porsche van over heel de wereld journalisten naar Mol overvliegen om hen te laten kennismaken met het Auro 3D-audiosysteem in de nieuwe Porsche Cayenne. Auro-3D is in 2005 ontwikkeld door Wilfried Van Baelen in de Galaxy Studios, een bedrijf dat hij samen met zijn broer Guy opbouwde.
