Programme Schedule & Experience

- Online sessions from 29 June to 10 July 2026, followed by on-site at Galaxy Studios from 20 to 23 July 2026

- Hands-on experience producing your own composition in a professional environment, from stereo to immersive audio

Hybrid composing and recording

- Two weeks of online preparation followed by an intensive, hands-on studio experience

- Combines live musicians with modern production techniques for contemporary media and music production

Guided by industry professionals with decades of experience in composing, recording, and mixing, sharing both expertise and real-world workflows.
This preparation leads into the on-site experience at Galaxy Studios, where each participant records their own composition with professional musicians. Sessions are simultaneously recorded in analogue (API Vision Control Room) and digital (Neve 88D Control Room).

Participants are introduced to the practical realities of hybrid recording, from capturing live performances to seamlessly integrating them with pre-programmed elements, while also exploring mixing for the main audio formats: Stereo, Surround, and Immersive Audio.

The programme builds toward its final stage inside the world-renowned AuroTorium, where selected compositions are brought to life across the full spectrum of formats, from Stereo to Immersive Audio. Experienced in both linear (home) and X-curve (digital cinema) environments, this closing session reveals how a piece of music truly translates in a high-end immersive listening context, offering a rare inside look at the final stages of professional production and deliverables.

Beyond its educational focus, the Galaxy Scoring Academy is also designed as an industry networking event, providing a space to connect with others working in the field. It brings together participants from diverse backgrounds and experience levels in an environment that encourages exchange, collaboration, and new professional connections.
