The Neve 88D control room is the world’s first studio built specifically for Immersive Music production, perfect for orchestral scoring for films and games in collaboration with the renowned Galaxy Symphonic Orchestra.
At its core is the Neve 88D, a 500-channel, 96 kHz / 24-bit flagship digital console designed by Wilfried Van Baelen to enable simultaneous mixing of Immersive Music, Stereo, and 5.1/7.1 Surround formats without any additional production time.
The room features an AURO 12.1 (7.1.4 + Voice of God) Genelec monitoring system, supporting all major immersive standards.
With its perfectly balanced 60 m² acoustic design, natural daylight, 3 recording spaces (including Galaxy Hall) and a curated selection of vintage equipment, it offers the ideal environment for recording and mixing any style of music in every audio format.

- There are no parallel concrete walls, nor parallel ceiling and floor surfaces, to avoid standing waves and to create optimal room modes. This design significantly enlarges the sweet spot and delivers a very natural sound, based on linear absorption across the full frequency spectrum. Approximately 50% of the room’s volume is dedicated to linear absorption, ensuring that the acoustics do not color the tonal balance (down to the lowest octave), one of the most common problems in control rooms.
- AMS-Neve 88D console designed together with AMS-Neve for Immersive Sound in Hi-Res Audio Quality. In practice, the console’s DSP engine is typically used for large-scale mixing at 96 kHz, but the maximum sample rate for conversion and recording is 384 kHz. It was the first ever console for 3D audio productions up to 1.000 channels in 48kHz (= 125 channels in 384kHz). The 88D has a full reset function (everything can be automated) with assignable EQ bands up to 8 per channel, 16 stereo auxiliary sends, every channel has an expander/gate, compressor and limiter with each of those dynamics an individual side chain filter. Up to 24 different banks of each 48 channels, are giving you a clear overview of all your channels
