Morten Lindberg is not merely a producer and engineer, he is a force of nature who has quietly rewritten the rules of what recorded sound can be. A Norwegian recording producer and balance engineer specialising in classical music, Lindberg holds the extraordinary record of being the most Grammy-nominated producer/engineer in history, with 2L recordings accumulating over 50 Grammy nominations in craft categories including Best Engineered Album, Best Surround Sound Album, Best Immersive Audio Album, and Producer of the Year.
He began his career in 1992, founding his production company Lindberg Lyd and collaborating with renowned labels including Universal Music, Naxos, and EMI. When the industry shifted, rather than follow the crowd, he made a bold choice and founded 2L, a label that started with stereo recordings, then moved into surround sound, and eventually became a global benchmark for immersive audio. 2L specialises in high-resolution recordings of classical, traditional folk, and jazz music, captured in churches, concert halls, and other acoustic spaces using custom microphone arrays designed to achieve sonic purity and spatial realism.
Lindberg's productions have pioneered immersive formats including Dolby Atmos and Auro-3D, setting new standards in spatial sound reproduction for music, and the Grammy Recording Academy has taken note, year after year, decade after decade. His company Lindberg Lyd is a Grammy Award-winner in both 2020 and 2026.

Elliot Scheiner is, quite simply, one of the greatest producer/engineers in the history of recorded music. With 27 Grammy nominations, 8 Grammy wins, 4 Emmy nominations, 2 Emmy wins, and 3 TEC Awards to his name, along with induction into the TEC Hall of Fame and the rare distinction of being named a Master of Sound by the Japan Audio Society, his trophy case speaks for itself, and it speaks loudly.
Scheiner launched his career in 1967 as Phil Ramone's assistant at A&R Recording in New York City, rapidly rising through the ranks to become one of the most in-demand engineers in the business. The artists who have sought out his golden ears read like a who's who of modern music: Steely Dan, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, Sting, Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Beck, Van Morrison, Aerosmith, B.B. King, Toto, Queen, and Beyoncé, to name only a few.
His Grammy wins include Best Engineered Recording for Steely Dan's landmark albums, and his Emmy Awards came for his work with the Eagles on their farewell tour broadcast and the documentary History of the Eagles. Beyond stereo, Scheiner is considered one of the world's foremost authorities on surround sound and multi-channel mixing, pioneering the format across film, television, and music. He also co-created the ELS Surround premium audio system for Acura, bringing his obsessive pursuit of sonic perfection directly into listeners' cars.
He holds an honorary Doctor of Music degree from the Berklee College of Music, an institution that does not hand out doctorates lightly.

Wilfried Van Baelen is the inventor of Immersive Sound and creator of the Auro-3D format, the first end-to-end immersive audio solution successfully implemented across all major markets, from cinema and music to gaming, automotive, and consumer electronics. As founder of Galaxy Studios, he built one of the world’s most advanced recording environments dedicated to immersive production. He introduced the term “Immersive Audio” in 2010 and played a key role in its global adoption. Today, he leads AuroMasters, the first streaming platform dedicated to Immersive Music, delivering true lossless, studio-grade Hi-Res immersive audio (up to 192 kHz / 24-bit) directly to consumers worldwide.
In addition, he brings extensive experience in film sound, scoring, calibration, and mixing on dubbing stages worldwide, having completed the final mix of more than twenty feature films, including Khadak, winner of the Golden Lion of the Future at the Venice Film Festival, with special recognition for its outstanding sound. Galaxy Studios also hosted the mixing of the first feature film in immersive 3D audio, Red Tails, produced by George Lucas, where the Skywalker Sound team collaborated closely with Wilfried to benefit from his expertise.
In parallel, he has been invited worldwide to deliver masterclasses on Immersive Sound for film, covering recording, sound design, and final mixing. Through these sessions, he has shared his expertise with professionals and students across the globe, further establishing his role as a leading authority in immersive audio for cinema.
At Galaxy Studios, he established and developed scoring activities from 1995, following the opening of the Galaxy Hall, purpose-built for orchestral recording. He has collaborated with leading national and international composers on numerous large-scale productions, including recent sessions such as The Sympathizer for Netflix.
This unique background enables him to bridge music production and film scoring, with deep expertise in translating sound from linear studio or home environments to cinema playback systems (X-curve). His teaching combines decades of experience in immersive audio, perception, and neuroscience, offering rare insight into creating emotionally impactful sound that translates seamlessly across all formats, from stereo to full immersive cinema.
Beyond his achievements, Wilfried is widely recognized for his ability to inspire. Through decades of hands-on work in recording and mixing, he has influenced engineers, producers, and composers worldwide. His approach blends technical mastery with creative vision, always focused on achieving the highest emotional impact in sound — whether in music, film, or immersive formats. Participants in the Galaxy Scoring Academy experience this firsthand, gaining not only knowledge but a new way of thinking about sound, space, and storytelling.

Tim Peeters is a Belgian DJ, producer, engineer, and immersive audio pioneer who moves fluidly between two worlds that rarely overlap, the global EDM stage and the cutting edge of spatial sound design.
Better known by his artist alias NIVIRO, Tim has been immersed in music since childhood, receiving his first DJ setup at the age of six and going on to become one of Belgium's most prominent figures in the international dance music scene. Signed to top-rated labels including Spinnin' Records, Armada, Rave Culture, and Sony Music, NIVIRO's music has attracted support from some of the world's biggest DJs, among them Tiësto, Hardwell, Alan Walker, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and has racked up billions of streams and views worldwide.
Behind the artist lies a deeply technical mind. Since the end of 2022, Tim has run Spatial Moon Studios, his own commercial mixing and production facility in Mol, Belgium, offering professional recording, mixing, and mastering with a particular focus on immersive audio in formats including Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Sony360, as well as immersive mixing for film and commercials. He began experimenting with immersive audio as early as 2017, giving him nearly a decade of hands-on experience in a field that most of the industry is only now beginning to explore.
